Our story
Our story begins almost a decade ago, a handful of people who wanted to grow and develop their training and facilitation skills. We are honestly admitting that we started selfishly. Our path remodelled based on our development needs. At one point we realized that we are actually united by the same will of helping others so we founded an NGO. We’ve learnt from each other and we kept this trait in Innbox’s DNA as a must live principle.
As NGO, Innbox was the perfect space for personal development who attracted people who wanted to grow. We had volunteers who were close to the organization for years and with whom we’ve implemented meaningful projects. We created a Trainer’s Community that became a cool testing space and brainstorming for trainers. We supported future trainers in discovering their path and developing their skills and we contributed to the development journey of over 1000 young people through our training sessions. We soon started bringing companies on board and trained their staff as a CSR action as all the funds were reinvested in the NGO's purpose. As time passed by, we transformed as a team and as individuals. We’ve grown. Innbox has slowly become a safe space for team members to put on paper the “let’s do it” type of conversations that helped us discover how we can bring more meaning into our life. We’ve had endless philosophical questions on the topic, analyzing the meaning of our day to day activity, talking about WHY we do what we do and what makes people grow. We talked about our companies, about the relationship with our managers and on how much this person can either put barriers or facilitate development. This was the conversation that created the ultimate AHA moment for us! We’ve found our meaning into helping leaders create an appropriate SPACE for them and for their team’s development. We’ve had our own lessons from the teams we coordinated. Teams that had different formats, different challenges, good or bad strategies, with positive or not that positive team dynamics. We’ve lived critical moments with those teams and we realized that the way we decided to coordinate them was the essence of things. There were moments when we focused too much on the relationship and we failed to complete projects and moments when we were too task oriented that we’ve lost the energy and drive of doing because the mission was no longer obvious. It all ended up to the SPACE that was more or less fit to engage people and fulfill the mission. This is how we ended up creating what Innbox is now! A perfect SPACE to create learning experiences for leaders for them to become enhancers for their teams. Let’s do this! |
